About Us
We are three cousins who grew up sharing the same longing every member of the Middle Eastern diaspora knows—the desire to stay connected to the tastes, smells, and stories that shaped our families. Over time, we realized that what we missed most wasn’t just the foods from home, but the feeling they gave us: grounding, belonging, and a quiet reminder of who we are.
That’s how the idea of Juzoor began—not as a business, but as a conversation among us. A shared frustration that authentic, clean, truly Lebanese preserved foods are difficult to find abroad. A shared memory of jars our mothers and grandmothers made with iron-rich soil, hand-picked herbs, and traditions that span generations.
And a shared belief that our community deserves access to that same honesty and care.
Right now, Juzoor is just the three of us—researching, testing, tasting, and building relationships with small producers back home. We’re learning what it takes to create something that doesn’t just carry flavor, but carries home with it.
What we need next is support from the very community we’re trying to serve. We need diaspora voices willing to tell us what they miss, what they crave, what feels lost. We need partners who believe in sourcing directly from Lebanese farmers. We need people who understand that food is how we hold onto each other when distance tries to separate us.
Juzoor isn’t finished. It’s beginning and with the right people beside us, we can build something that brings our diaspora closer—to our roots, to each other, and to the homeland that still lives in our senses.
